CASA DE VILA VERDE
Lousada, Porto
Located in the stunning Vinhos Verdes region, in the heart of the picturesque Sousa valley, it is one of the oldest houses in the region.
With a harmonious facade and impressive dimensions, Casa de Vila Verde was recognized as Property of Public Interest by the Portuguese State.
Its medieval tower suggests that its construction dates back to the 12th or 13th centuries, being mentioned for the first time during the reign of D. Manuel I, between 1469 and 1521.
Exploring an agricultural area of around 100 hectares, it has a long tradition in Vinhos Verdes, with records of its production dating back to the 19th century.
